The project parcel is approximately 13.56 acres and is almost entirely wooded. The facility will produce tile and tile like flooring materials to be used in construction. The company"Floorazoo"has an existing facility in downtown Siler City along W. 3rd Street and intends to move the operation to the project site and continue their production at the new facility. The soils on site are classified as Hydrologic Soil Group (HSG) D. The site does not lie within a special flood hazard area per FIRM Panel 3710876200K. There is an intermittent stream located on site, per USGS Topo maps that runs from southwest to northeast across the western portion of the parcel. There are no jurisdictional wetlands on site. The entire site drains to an unnamed tributary of Rocky Rover, surface water classification C, that is part of the Cape Fear River Basin. Erosion Control: All devices for this project have been sized to provide adequate protection from the runoff of the 10-year storm. The majority of the site will be treated by two sediment basins, one located to the northern boundary of the project limits and one located at the southern boundary of the project limits. The remainder of the site will be treated by silt fence with silt fence stone outlets, temporary rock check dams and rock inlet protection. The entire disturbed area for this project will be approximately 5.0 acres. One temporary diversion ditch and two permanent grass lined ditches will be installed to ensure the majority of the disturbed will drain to the skimmer basins. Temporary rock check dams have been provided in the temporary and permanent diversions. The remaining disturbed area located outside of the drainage area to the temporary diversions, and two sediment basins will be treated by silt fence and silt fence stone outlets. Geotextile fabric has been provided where the temporary diversion empties into sediment basin#1 and at sediment basin spillways. All diversion ditches will be matted and stabilized within 7 days following installation. Rip rap aprons have been provided at the driveway pipe outlet and has been sized for the 10-year storm. After the site is completely stabilized all temporary erosion control measures will be removed. A total of 86,719 sf of impervious area has been proposed as a part of this project. The BUA density as proposed will be 6.69% classifying this as a low-density stormwater project per NCDEQ standards but will require peak runoff attenuation per Siler City Local Ordinances. Numbers in parenthesis are PF estimates at lower and upper bounds of the 90%confidence interval. The probability that precipitation frequency estimates(for a given duration and average recurrence interval)will be greater than the upper bound(or less than the lower bound)is 5%.Estimates at upper bounds are not checked against probable maximum precipitation(PMP)estimates and may be higher than currently valid PMP values.
