Outfall SDO-1 is our designated outfall for vehicle maintenance activities, and we have always collected TPH samples as required. However, at several of our sites, VMA run-off is directed to the Pit where it co -mingles with wastewater, and TPH sampling is not required. That is not the case at the Raleigh Quarry, and we certainly regret not collecting the sample. I didn't see the 30-day notification requirement until I completed the DMRs this week and saw the actual submittal timing stated on the benchmark exceedance form. Please see the attached completed benchmark exceedance form, in the second period-2017, on 12/06/2017 with a total rainfall of 0.24 inches, TPH samples were collected at Outfall SDO-1 with a resulting TPH concentration of <5.0 mg/L. We will be sure to continue sampling for TPH at the SDO-1 Outfall.
