Starr Silvis of the Asheville Regional Office conducted the Compliance Evaluation Inspection. The treatment facility was found to be in violation of Permit NCG020065 for the following: Inspection Area Compliance Issue Self monitoring Monitoring not conducted as required in the permit. Outfalls All stormwater outfalls not monitored or identified. Runoff Runoff from area adjacent to pump house is not controlled. There was evidence in the form of erosion and sediment in the river that this point is potentially significant source of pollutants. Recommend constructing a sedimentation basin and associated berms to direct flow into the basin prior to leaving the site.
