In the past we have tried to get the expired COCs resolved but it appears new COCs have surfaced for our region. A few COCs (NCG090002, NCG180121, and NCG180209) we thought had been resolved but they are still showing as "Expired" when pulled from BIMS. I have attached three documents showing that MRO had asked permitting to make the COCs "Inactive" since the permittee was no longer at the site and we could not contact them. The NCG180121 date should be January 2011 not January 2010 as per inspection in BIMS. Can you let me know who would now handle this in permitting and whether you need the supporting documentation that we had provided with the Memos. NCG090002 expired in 2002, so as long as we never received a renewal, you can change the status to inactive. NCG180121 expired in 2009, so as long as we never received a renewal, you can change the status to inactive. One question though (which we need to ask Charles about again) is when we inactivate a permit, do we also have to update the overdue fees in RIMS? I can't remember if we asked that question.
