OFFICE Subject: Return #825 Permit Number NCG020360 Callicutt's Gravel Montgomery County Dear Mr. Callicutt: The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the Division of Water Quality has reviewed your stormwater permit application. The National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systern (NPDES) stormwater regulations require stormwater permits for facilities that conduct certain industrial activities (such as mining of nonmetallic minerals) and which also have point source discharges of stormwater runoff. In your application, you indicated that you don't have a point source discharge of stormwater from your site. Our Fayetteville Regional Office has assessed the information on your site and they agree that there is no point source discharge of stormwater from your site. Therefore, your facility does not require an NPDES stormwater permit at this time and we are returning your Notice of Intent (NOI). Your $400.00 permit application fee will be returned under a separate cover. Please be aware that if conditions at your site change so that you begin discharging process wastewater overflow, or mine dewatering and/or stormwater runoff from your site, you will need to reapply for it stormwater permit. Please find the attached Notice of Intent. If you have any questions, please contact Antonio Evans at 919-733-5083 x 584. Sincerely, A.
