Event Description
NC DIVISION OF ENERGY, MINERAL, AND LAND RESOURCES INTENT TO ISSUE A
STORMWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT Public comment or objection to the draft permit is
invited. Submit written comments to DEMLR at the address below. All comments received prior
to September 27, 2019 will be considered in the final determination regarding permit issuance
and permit provisions. Applications Shenandoah Wood Preservers, Inc., 301 East 16th STreet,
Scotland Neck, NC, has applied for an NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from an industrial
facility at Shenandoah Wood Preservers, Inc.., 301 East 16th Street, Scotland Neck, NC, Halifax
Coumty. The facility discharges to the Kehukee Swamp, a class C water body in the Roanoke
River Basin. Permit No.. NCS000289. Additional permit documents are available for the
reproduction cost at, DEMLR Stormwater Permitting Program, 512 N. Salisbury Street (location,
