Dear Mr. Cucuzza:
Our records indicate that you have been issued the subject Certificate of Coverage (COC)
under NPDES General Permit (GP) No. NCG020000 from the North Carolina Division of Water
Quality to discharge stormwater associated with industrial activities performed at your facility. The
purpose of this letter is to advise you that a representative with the Division's Mooresville Regional
Office may be contacting you in the near future for the purpose of conducting an inspection at your
facility.
If an inspection is conducted at your facility, you should be prepared to demonstrate
compliance with all terms and conditions as set forth in the GP. During the inspection, the
following areas (if applicable) will be evaluated: Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, stormwater
outfall locations, a review of any qualitative and/or analytical monitoring data that may be required
by the GP, and any other activities that may be required by the GP that are unique to your discharge.
This information should be readily available if requested by a Division representative. if your,
permit requires you to maintain a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, your permit also requires
you to update the plan on an annual basis.
If you are no longer the contact person for this facility, please provide this Office with the
name of the current contact person and a phone number where they can be reached so we can update
