Hi Bob,
We did receive the harcopies. I reviewed them and have the following comments:
1) The plans show a stream located on the property, however the application does not subtract the surface water area
from the project area as required in the Stormwater Management Regulations at 15A NCAC 02H .1002. Please revise the
application to address this.
2) The roadside ditch detail on Sheet 12 shows the side slopes as a maximum of 2:1. The low density requirements in
15A NCAC 02H .1003 require that the side slopes be no steeper than 3:1. Please revise the detail to meet this
requirement.
3) The proposed design includes a significant amount of piping (about 3400 ft). The low density requirements require
minimal piping only for driveway crossing and erosion control. Please revise the plans to reduce the amount of piping.
4) Only one copy of the plans was sent. Two copies are required for permit approval. Please send two copies of any
revised plans and upload electronic copies to https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/SW_Project_Submittal.
