Comment: There was only one pump in service at the time of the inspection. It was
indicated that other pump has been in the shop for weeks. It is recommended that each
pump station have a sufficient back-up pump. That audio and visual alarm needs to be
put back in service.

Comment: Audio alarm needs to be louder. Keep records on pump station visits. Test
audio and visual alarms once a week and record in logbook. currently a piece of
plywood is simply laid on top of the opening. a real lid must be installed as soon as
possible.
