Dear Mr. Elmore:
This Office is in receipt of the plans dated June, 2004 for stormwater management facilities
associated with the Runway 5L/23R portion of the referenced project, prepared on your behalf
by Baker and Associates. Staff from the Division of Water Quality reviewed the plans and found
them acceptable to meet Condition 8c of the 401 Water Quality Certification with respect to 2
year and 10 year storm events. However, please note that documents for 1 year and 5 year storm
events, along with modeling information for flow exceedence for post construction conditions
must be provided and approved in writing by this Office.
Please note that this approval is for water quality purposes only and shall not be construed as an
approval of the design for dam/outlet structure integrity, Dam Safety, public safety, or flood
attenuation purposes.
