The operators indicate that they will not need to increase the flow capacity, holding tank capacity or change treatment units on the existing facility to accommodate the addition of the proposed wastewater A compliance inspection was performed on October 1, 2019. Operational logs and records of disposal of the residual solids are maintained and kept on -site. These solids are considered hazardous waste and are disposed of out of state (Clean Harbors, Texas). The closed loop recycle system reuses water in the wood preserving process and is combined with boiler blow down water and make-up water from an on -site well as needed. System appears to be well maintained and in good working condition. The regional office recommends permit modification to allow this additional wastewater to the system.
