Please see the attached NOV I have written for Durable Wood Preservers NCS000339 on MRO letterhead. I did come
across an issue with the permit while writing the NOV... On the permit, it lists McAlpine Creek (Catawba River Basin) as
the receiving waters, but I observed the unnamed tributary adjacent to the facility flowing North toward Reedy Creek
(Yadkin Pee -Dee River Basin). I checked the surface water map on the DEQ page (see below) and it appears to agree with
Reedy Creek being the receiving waters.
I tried to note this in the NOV, but if you would rather, I can delete one or the other. Just let me know.
