The system was installed in the late 1970's and consists of a septic tank and sandfilter under the front yard. Mr. Garland showed the Inspector what he believes to be the discharge pipe located in the middle of, and recessed into, the railroad ties retaining wall. Two black corrugated drainage type pipes were observed right at creek level; it is believed one may be the effluent, the other for drainage. Mr. Garland had his septic tank pumped out on 9/17/2019.
