Gary Hock died in October,2013 and it is my understanding that Hock Development has been dissolved. We are occupying the office space that his company once occupied and get mail for him or his company almost every week. This is the only reason I am responding to your letter—to let you know that he died six(6)years ago and his firm is no longer in business. Please note that if any portion of the facility has been constructed and is in operation,a certification must be provided.A complete certification is one that includes a copy of the construction record drawings(plan and profile views of all sewer lines), pump station design calculations(if applicable),and the certification form as provided with the original permit. Please note that the Division may not acknowledge the receipt of certifications, however,the status can be viewed at any time using our online Sewer Extension Permit Tracker located on the PERCS Unit website. Please provide your response for each permit listed above within 30 days of the date of this letter. If you have previously received a letter from the Division requesting an Engineering Certification for other permits issued during the period of 2010 through 2015,and have not yet responded,please submit the required information at this time. It should be noted that failure to certify a non-discharge sewer extension permit appropriately in accordance with the provisions of 15A NCAC 02T.0116 may result in enforcement action. Operating a non-discharge system without a valid Wastewater Collection Permit may subject the responsible party to a civil penalty of up to$10,000 per day. Note:This current letter references permits issued by the Division,generally from 2007 through 2009, that remain open without the Final Engineer's Certifications on file.
