Re: Flow meter discrepancy
On March 17, 2003, we had a malfunction of the flow meter at the Mag 4
lagoon. According to the flow meter we only pumped 35,669 gallons of
wastewater. According totthe pivot design charts, we pumped 168,000
gallons. Ken Avery, who is the land tech for that area, brought this matter to
my attention. Our investigation into the problem found that the electrical
connection to the power source had worked itself loose and therefore the
flowmeter was only working part of the time. The connection was repaired
and no other problems have been encountered,
