Notes/Comments/Recommendations
Project is a scheduled bridge upgrade, which started around April 2019 with estimated completion in —12 months. Per DOT staff,
there was some minor sediment loss into the creek due to a silt fence outlet being overwhelmed during a heavy, short -duration
storm event on 8/5/2019. DOT staff notified the COE and DWR about the sediment impact to the creek and coordinated
appropriate restoration, which has been completed.
It should be noted that there are multiple levels of communication between various DOT staff and the onsite contractors.
