PROTECT NARRATIVE
The property served by this proposed sewer extension is located approximately 900 LF from the
intersection of Alston Boulevard and Hwy 210 behind the Harris Teeter Shopping Center and
before the Arbors residential subdivision. Evolve Companies is developing the 33.5 acre parcel into
336 apartments in 14 (24 unit) buildings along with a clubhouse and amenity facilities. The project
will be divided into 2 phases, with Alston Boulevard being the phase limits. The flow for Phase 1
will be 49,370 gpd as provided in the attachment. This flow will be collected via a gravity sewer
system.
For the permit, the gravity sewer for phase 1 will consist of both public and private lines, with 650
LF of public 8" gravity and 900 LF of private 8" gravity, as shown in the attachments.
Lastly, the project contains gravity lines and manholes which are within 50' of wetlands. The plans
require and show pipe materials and testing to meet watermain standards and for manholes to be
fully lined with waterproof material and vacuum tested for these sections.
