All of the flow continues to be directed to the same next downstream pump station. There are three existing wastewater pump stations located in the general vicinity of the WAS New River transportation and fueling unit (Building AS 4158). Two of these pump stations are proposed to be demolished and all of the flow directed to the surviving existing pump station. The existing pump station to remain has duplex grinder pumps. The pump station has an existing 285 lineal foot segment of 1-1/2 inch PVC force main that will be upgraded to 2-1/2" PVC force main by this project. Downstream of the replacement point, the existing force main is 2-1/2 inches in diameter. The new pump station will discharge to the same downstream pump station approximately one -eighth of a mile away. There will be 985 linear feet of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer main constructed by this project in order to collect the flow from the two existing pump stations that will be demolished. A54192 will be the surviving pump station with pump stations SAS 4193 and SAS 4172 being demolished. The flow sources include office/work area restrooms, rainwater from fuel truck parking areas treated through an existing oil water separator and a vehicle washrack with flow also treated through an existing oil water separator.
