I am writing in response to a notice I received of violations on my farm,Summerlin NW)#va. °�/Ji

31-594, Duplin County AWS310594. I had someone running my swine operation and they v on
repsonsible for pumping and record keeping. Unfortunately they were not keeping up with the na/Oc,9
required lagoon samples, sludge survey and calibration of the irrigation system. I have
someone certified that is now operating my farm and we have worked to get these violations
corrected.
On September 12th, Amanda Hatcher , an agent from the Duplin County Extension Service came
to my farm and did a sludge survey and calibration of my irrigation equipment. Ms. Hatcher
returned to my farm Monday September 16th and we took soil samples along with a waste
sample. Ms. Hatchers number is 1-910-372-9411 if you need to contact her regarding these
corrective actions.
I realize how important my permit is and i will oversee that this does not happen again. If you
