The following applies: The French Broad Interceptor- Carrier Bridge PER (completed by CDM Smith in 2019) recommends replacing the existing um station with a new 34 MGD pump station to accommodate future wastewater flows through 2070. The project will add approximately 12 MGD of additional firm capacity by early 2023, This project is being incorporated into MSD's 10-yr Capital Improvement Plan and will provide funding for land purchase (in FY 1920), engineering design (FY 19/20 and FY 20121), and construction (PY 21/22 and Therefore: Given reasonably expected conditions and planning information, there is sufficient justification to allow this flow to be permitted, without a significant likelihood of over -allocating capacity in the system infrastructure. I understand that this does not relieve the collection system owner from complying with G.S. 143- 215.67(a) which prohibits the introduction of any waste in excess of time capacity of the waste disposal system.
