Good afternoon,
The Department of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources received an application for the above referenced project. A
review of the information determined that the application does not meet the requirements in the Stormwater
Managemng Regulations (15A NCAC 02H .1000). The following deficiencies must be addressed:
1) Treatment swales are not considered a primary SCM in the stormwater regulations. A primary SCM is required to
meet the runoff treatment standard in 15A NCAC 02H .1003. Please revise the plans to provide adequate treatment.
2) Storm EZ has not been updated to meet the current stormwater regulations and has therefore been removed from
DEMLR's website. It is currently being revised to meet the current regulations. Meeting "Basic Treatment" as defined in
Storm EZ does not meet the runoff treatment standard under the current regulations.
Please submit two hard copies of all plan revisions and upload electronic copies at
