On 2/20/2013, the Division of Water Quality received your request to rescind your coverage under
Certificate of Coverage Number NCG 190087. In accordance with your request, Certificate of Coverage
Number NCG 190087 is rescinded effective immediately.
Operating a treatment facility, discharging wastewater or discharging specific types of stormwater to
waters of the State without'valid coverage under an NPDES permit is against federal and state laws and
could result in fines. If something changes and your facility would again require stormwater or
wastewater discharge permit coverage, you should notify this office immediately. We will be happy to
assist you in assuring the proper permit coverage.
If the facility is in the process of being sold, you will be performing a public service if you would inform
the new or prospective owners of their potential need for NPDES permit coverage.

forwarding herewith -the subject certi licate of coverage to discharge under the subject state — NI'DES
general permit. This permit is issued pursuant to the requirements'of North Carolina General Statute 143-
215.1 and the Memorandum of Agreement between North Carolina and the US Environmental Protection
Agency dated October 15, 2007 (or as subsequently amended).
Please take notice that this certificate of coverage is not transferable except after notice to the
Division of Water Quality, The Division of Water Quality may require modification or revocation and
reissuance of the certificate of coverage.
Note that this permit is only for stormwater discharges as described in Section B of the
permit. This does not include other waste streams including, but not limited to, boat hand cleaning,
pressure washing, and fish cleaning stations.
This permit does not affect the legal requirements to obtain other permits which may be required
by the Division of Water Quality or permits required by the Division of Land Resources, Coastal Area
Management Act or any other federal or local governmental permit *hat may be required.

We have received an application for coverage of an existing facility under NCG 19 from Gregory Pool Equipment Co. The
facility drains to a UT to Wrightsville Recreational Area (ICWW) (class SB: #) in Wilmington (New Hanover County). One
SDO goes to the City of Wilmington MS4; the other goes directly to the UT. They perform maintenance and repair of
boats and engines. They also perform hand and power washing. No haz waste. Does the WiRO have any concerns
about issuing this facility a COC for this general permit.?
