On March 21, 2014, the Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources received your request to rescind
your coverage under Certificate of Coverage Number NCGO80217. in accordance with your request,
Certificate of Coverage Number NCGO80217 is rescinded effective immediately.
Operating a treatment facility, discharging wastewater or discharging specific types of stormwater to waters
of the State without valid coverage under an NPDES permit is against federal and state laws and could result
in fines. If something changes and your facility would again require stormwater or wastewater discharge
permit coverage, you should notify this office immediately. We will be happy to assist you in assuring the
proper permit coverage.
If the facility is in the process of being sold, you will be performing a public service if you would inform the
new or prospective owners of their potential need for NPDES permit coverage.

Hey Julie,
I can't find Sue anywhere so I went ahead and looked up those industries with rescission requests. NCG080217 (ATW
Inc) is ok to rescind — it was sold about 6 years ago to Shep's Towing and Recovery and there are no further NPDES-
eligible industrial activities there. NCGNE0595 is ok to rescind — that site was sold in 2010 to a restaurant equipment
rental company. And I found that Sue inspected NCS000280 in March 2014 and stated that it was ok to rescind in the
inspection report. I'll have to look into NCG140306 (Cemex), but I know last time Mike Thomas inspected them they
were "inactive." We'll see if they've actually moved out and get back to you.

NCG030649— MetoKote Corporation Plant 19 in Alamance County. This site discharges stormwater at two points to
Moadams Creek (Latham Lake) (Class WS-V;NSW). The NOI is attached.
Please let me know if the Winston-Salem Regional Office has any concerns about issuing this COC. Please also let me
know of any potential impacts to wetlands. If we don't receive any objections, we'll issue the COC in 30 days.
