Nixon, Fishery, Inc. 1141 Nixon Fishery Road, Edenton Chowan County Dear Ms. Nixon: The Division of Water Resources (DWR or the Division) reviewed your application for surface discharge from the subject facility dated January 5, 2018 submitted by your authorized agent, Groundwater Management Associates (GMA), Inc. on your behalf. They also submitted an Engineering Alternatives Analysis (EAA) required of all proposed new dischargers. After meeting with you and your representatives at your request at the Washington Regional Office (WaRO) on August 14, 2018, DWR understood that Murry Fishery intended to pursue additional options to a surface -water discharge considering that your currently proposed septic system is deemed inadequate under current state and federal regulations. At that time, DWR recommended that you pursue additional and/or supplemental discharge options and provide a report of your findings and conclusions. We expected to hear from you within — 90 days of our meeting, by approximately November 15, 2018. In the absence to date of additional information, the Division must return your application as incomplete. If we can further assist you, please contact me at [joe.corporongricderingov] or call my direct line (919) 707-3617. Respectfully, [original signed by Joe Corporon] Joe R.
