THE MAXIMUM LOADING RATE WIL BE 30 CUBIC YARDS PER HOUR WHICH WILL BE 1050 GAL. OF WATER PER HOUR. IN AN EIGHT (8) HOUR DAY OF PRODUCTION, THE MAXIMUM YARDAGE WILL BE 240 CUBIC YARDS OF CONCRETE PRODUCED WITH 8400 GAL. OF WATER USED. THIS MEANS THE 6000 GAL. STORAGE TANK MAY NOT SUPPORT ALL THE WATER USED; THEREFORE, A PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY WILLL SUPPLEMENT THE RECYCLE SUPPLY. SEE DESIGN CALCULATIONS IN "DESIGN CALCULATIONS AND BASIS FOR RECYCLE SYSTEM" TO FOLLOW, THE WASTE WATER WILL RECYCLE THROUGH THE CELLS TO THE STORAGE TANK AT ALL TIMES. AGGREGATE PILE IRRIGATION: A) THIS OPERATION IS ELIMINATED AS WATER WILL BE ADDED, AS NEEDED, AT THE BATCHING OPERATION. MOISTURE TESTS WILL BE PERFORMED ON THE AGGREGATE A MINIMUM OF TWICE A DAY TO DETERMINE THE NEED OF ADDED WATER IN THE' BATCHING OPERATION. DESIGN CALCULATIONS AND BASIS FOR RECYCLE SYSTEM: A) EACH WASHOUT WILL GENERATE AN AMOUNT OF WATER EQUAL TO 75 GAL. AND THIS 75 GAL. WILL GO INTO THE WASTEWATER BASIN WHICH WILL HOLD 820 CU. FT. WHEN CELL_ 1 FILLS WITH 6150 GALLONS IT WILL BEGIN TO SPILL INTO CELL 2 WHICH WILL BE ALLOWED TO ACCUMULATE ZERO INCHES OF WATER, OR ZERO GAL, AT WHICH TIME CELL 2 WILL SPILL INTO CELL 3, BEFORE THE PUMP WILL ACTIVATE AND SEND THE WASTE WATER TO THE 6000 GAL. STORAGE TANK IS BEING PLACED AS NOTED ON THE PLAN. THE WASTE WATER, ONCE IT HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO SETTLE IN CELL 1 WILL SPILL INTO CELLS 2 AND 3, WILL BE PUMPED TO THE STORAGE TANK AND THEN WILL BE USED IN THE TRUCK MIX OPERATION. APPROXIMATELY 35 GAL. OF WATER PER CUBIC YARD OF CONCRETE WILL BE- USED FOR THE TRUCK MIX OPERATION. A TYPICAL LOAD WILL BE 10 CUBIC YARDS; THEREFORE 350 GAL. OF WATER PER TRUCK WILL BE USED. SEE DESIGN CALCULATIONS IN "DESIGN CALCULATIONS AND BASIS FOR RECYCLE'SYSTEM" TO FOLLOW. THE WASTE WATER WILL RECYCLE THROUGH THE CELLS TO THE STORAGE TANK AT ALL TIMES. AGQREGAj6 PILE IRRIGATION: A) THIS OPERATION IS ELIMINATED AS WATER WILL BE ADDED, AS NEEDED, AT THE BATCHING OPERATION, MOISTURE TESTS WILL BE PERFORMED ON THE AGGREGATE A MINIMUM OF TWICE A DAY TO DETERMINE THE NEED OF ADDED WATER IN THE BATCHING OPERATION. DESIGN CALCULATIONS AND BASIS FOR RECYCLE SYSTEM: A) EACH WASHOUT WILL GENERATE AN AMOUNT OF WATER EQUAL TO 75 GAL. AND THIS 75 GAL, WILL GO INTO THE WASTEWATER BASIN WHICH WILL HOLD 820 CU. FT. (6150 GALLONS), OF WATER IN CELL 1 BEFORE IT SPILLS INTO CELL 2. 820-CU. T. OF WATER WILL ,BE 6150 GALLONS OF STORAGE AREA IN CELL 1. THE ESTIMATED MAXIMUM NUMBER WASHOUTS WILL BE 24 TRUCKS TIMES 75 GAL: WHICH WILL BE 18 GAL. OF WATER GOING INTO CELL 1 OF THE BASIN. WHEN CELL 1 FILLS WITH 6150 GALLONS IT WILL BEGIN TO SPILL INTO CELL 2 WHICH WILL BE ALLOWED TO ACCUMUL TE ZERO INCHES OF WATER, OR ZERO GAL. AT WHICH TIME CELL 2 WILL SPILL INTO CELL 3, BEFORE THE PUMP WILL ACTIVATE AND SEND THE WASTE WATER TO THE 6000 GAL. STORAGE TANK. THE WATER IN THf_ STORAGE TANK, SUPPLEMENTED WITH PUBLIC WATER, WILL BE USED IN THE PRODUCTION PROCESS. B) NO WASTEWATER WILL BE USED FOR SPRAY ON THE AGGREGATE STOCKPILES. C) THE BASIN IS DESIGNED TO'CONTAIN WATER FROM THE TRUCK WASH/LOAD OPERATION AND RUNOFF FROM A 25 YEAR, 24 HOUR STORM AND TO MAINTAIN A ONE FOOT OF FREEBOARD, AT A MINIMUM, AT THE DESIGN OPERATION CONDITIONS. D) THE DESIGN CALCULATIONS SHOW THE AMOUNT OF STORAGE IN THE BASIN BEFORE THE 25 YEAR, 24 HOUR EVENT, AND THE AREA REQUIRED FOR THE 25 YEAR, 24 HOUR EVENT WITH ONE FOOT OF FREEBOARD. CELL 1 WILL BE THE CELL UTILIZED FOR THE SOLIDS TO SETTLE, WILL BE CLEANED OUT WHEN SIX INCHES OF SETTLEMENT HAS ACCUMULATED. THE SETTLEMENT WILL BE PUMPED INTO A VEHICLE AND CARRIED TO AN APPROVED DISPOSAL SITE. C) THE WASTE WATER WILL BE PUMPED TO THE 6000yy. GAL. STORAGE TANK FOR USE IN THE PRODUCTION OF CONCRETE, pH ADJUSTMENT` . it P A) A CLOSED -LOOPED RECYCLE IS DESIGNED TO CONTAIN THE 25 YEAR, 24 HOUR STORM WITH ONE FOOT OF FREEBOARD UNDER DESIGN OPERATING CONDITIONS.
