UPS is submitting the following documentation for the information requested. Information requested: 3. Analytical Monitoring was conducted on August 28, 2011. No other analytical results were noted for 2012. Permit condition requires monitoring to be conducted semi- annually. Compliance Information: Rs Documentation demonstrating compliance with state storm water regulations concerning analytical monitoring is as follows, the annual new oil used in 2010 totaled 133 gallons, the average was 11 gallons per month not exceeding the 55 gallon per month bench mark necessary to trigger analytical monitoring. The assistance of Brandon Starr was appreciated as it facilitated the inspection process. The United Parcel Service Inc. facility discharges stormwater to receiving waters designated as UT to Stirrup Iron Creek in the Neuse River Basin. The following observations were made: 1. The Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SP3) was reviewed and revealed the following : • The plan contained the required general location map that included outfall location and drainage areas. • Employee training documents were included in the SP3. Last training was on November 7, 2011. (Note: employee training is required to be conducted annually and documented in the (SP3) plan) . • List of responsible parties for Emergency spill response notification. • Plan included Stormwater Facility Inspection reports. • A Best Management Practices- summary, current certificate of coverage, and narrative description of practices were also available for review. • A Spill prevention response plan was also available for review. • (SP3) Plan is being updated annually and as needed.
