Your assistance and the assistance of Mr. Wigal and Ms. Sumner was helpful and appreciated. This inspection was conducted to determine your compliance with the subject NPDES stormwater general permit. The following observations were noted during the inspection: SITE DESCRIPTION The Town of Garner's Public Works Center is located on Rand Mill Road in Wake County and is a facility conducting vehicle maintenance, re -fueling operations, and materials storage (oil, batteries, etc.). The Town of Garner added a wet detention pond to the site in the summer of 2010. INSPECTION SUMMARY The subject permit expires October 31, 2012. Review of the outfall and records for the general permit indicate the facility and stormwater discharge outfall (SDO) are well -maintained and the facility is in compliance will all requirements of the permit. Facility uses on average only 8 drums per year. Per the permit, analyticals are not required. Complex has a small drainage area and uses absorbent for any spills that may occur. Fuel storage is underground and all other fluids are kept indoors. Vehicle washing is conducted over a trap that flows to the sanitary sewer.
