ND - Not Detected at or above adjusted reporting limit. TNTC - Too Numerous To Count J - Estimated concentration above the adjusted method detection limit and below the adjusted reporting limit. MDL-Adjusted Method Detection Limit. PQL - Practical Quantitation Limit. RL - Reporting Limit - The lowest concentration value that meets project requirements for quantitative data with known precision and bias for a specific analyte in a specific matrix. S - Surrogate 1,2-Diphenylhydrazine decomposes to and cannot be separated from Azobenzene using Method 8270, The result for each analyte is a combined concentration. Consistent with EPA guidelines, unrounded data are displayed and have been used to calculate % recovery and RPD values. LCS(D) - Laboratory Control Sample (Duplicate) MS(D) - Matrix Spike (Duplicate) DUP - Sample Duplicate RPD - Relative Percent Difference NC - Not Calculable. SG - Silica Gel - Clean -Up U - Indicates the compound was analyzed for, but not detected. Acid preservation may not be appropriate for 2 Chloroethylvinyl ether. A separate vial preserved to a pH of 4-5 is recommended in SW846 Chapter 4 for the analysis of Acrolein and Acrylonitrile by EPA Method 8260. NO - Not Detected at or above adjusted reporting limit. TNTC - Too Numerous To Count J - Estimated concentration above the adjusted method detection limit and below the adjusted reporting limit. MOIL -Adjusted Method Detection Limit. N-Nitrosodiphenyla mine decomposes and cannot be separated from Diphenylamine using Method 8270. The result reported for each analyte is a combined concentration. J The reported value is between the laboratory method detection limit (MDL) and the laboratory method reporting limit (MRL), adjusted for actual sample preparation data and moisture content, where applicable. U The analyte was analyzed for but not detected to the level shown, adjusted for actual sample preparation data and moisture content, where applicable. E The concentration indicated for this analyte is an estimated value above the calibration range of the instrument. This value is considered an estimate. MRL Method Reporting Limit. The MRL is roughly equivalent to the practical quantitation limit (PQL) and is based on the low point of the calibration curve, when applicable, sample preparation factor, dilution factor, and, in the case of soil samples, moisture content. N The analysis indicates the presence of an analyte for which there is presumptive evidence (8594D or greater confidence) to make a "tentative identification". P Greater than 250% concentration difference was observed between the primary and secondary GC column. The lower concentration is reported. Total rainfall was measured with an on -site rain gauge for the duration of the event. During the time of sample, the COD value for the SWO17A was observed at 127 mg/L, exceeding the permitted benchmark value of 120 mg/L. As required in our storm water permit, a Tier I response was initiated and potential causes of the high COD value were investigated. During review of the drainage area and outfall, excessive vegetation was noted at the storm water outfall, with vegetation debris and algae observed in the pipe upstream from the sampling point. No contributing sources from industrial activity were observed. The corrective action and verification below have been were implemented, with details of the investigation available in the Tier I investigation, documented in the site storm water plan: 1) The outfall piping and surrounding area were cleared of vegetation and algae 2) All representative outfalls were resampled at a representative storm event to confirm concentrations below permitted benchmark values (values enclosed in DMR addendum).
