The Notice of Intent (NOI) was prepared and submitted to the Division in May 2013. At that time, the facility began to develop the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP) as required by the Division. It was noted that outfall 001 is a shared outfall from other industries in the area. The monitoring period for this report is recognized as January 1, 2014 through June 30, 2014. Due to the lack of rainfall and qualifying rainfall events, ITW did not collect storm water samples for monitoring period year 2-period 1. Samples were collected in March 2014 but the rainfall event did not meet collection criteria and the sample holding times for permit parameters were exceeded. Attached is the discharge monitoring reports required for monitoring period year 2-period 1 that indicates "no discharge" observed for collection. ITW has completed the storm water training with affected employees and will attempt to collect storm water samples in the next quarter to verify compliance with the facility general industrial permit NCG030636, Appalachian Environmental Resources, Inc. has been contracted to handle the water quality program at the facility. The Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP) has been developed and all information pertaining to the NPDES permit for Metal Fabrication has been completed.
