The site drains into an unnamed tributary of Clarke Creek in the Catawba River Basin. The site visit and file review revealed that the subject facility is covered by NPDES Stormwater General Permit NCG 110000. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation during the inspection. One exits at a ditch near the entrance and unloading area and the second discharges out the back of the property behind the operations building. Scrape equipment is stored in this area and runoff would drain to this area. The report should be self-explanatory. Please be advised that violations of the NPDES General Permit are subject to a civil penalty assessment of up to $25,000.00 per day for each violation. Accordingly, we are forwarding herewith modifications to the subject certificate of coverage to correct the error. This modification is issued to change the receiving waters to Clark Creek. Please find enclosed an amended certificate of coverage page which should be inserted in your issued document. The old certificate of coverage page should be discarded. All other terms and conditions contained in the certificate of coverage remain unchanged and in full effect.
