stormwater discharge outfall 1 be granted representative outfall' status for stormwater outfall 2. Based on the
information provided and a November 29, 2017 site inspection, we are approving this request. In accordance
with 40 CFR § 122.2 1 (g)(7), you are authorized to sample outfalls number 1 as representative for the entire site.
This approval is effective with the next sampling event.
Please append this letter to your Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP) or permit to document that
representative outfall status has been approved. If changes in drainage areas, structures, processes, storage
practices, or other activities occur that significantly alter the basis of this approval, representative outfall status
may no longer be valid. You should either resume sampling at all SDOs, or reapply to this office for

Hi Mike,
We've received NOls for two facilities in your region:
NCG07 — Adams-Charlotte/Reames Road in Charlotte. The site discharges stormwater at three points to an unnamed
tributary to Dixon Branch (Class C). The NO[ is attached.
NCG10 — LKQ Heavy Truck Charlotte in Charlotte. The site discharges stormwater at two points to Stewart Creek (Class
C). Stewart Creek goes into Irwin Creek, which Is impaired for fecal coliform, DO, and turbidity. The NOI is attached.
Please let me know if the Mooresville Regional Office has any concerns about issuing a COC for a general permit for
either of these facilities. Please also let me know of any potential impacts to wetlands. If we don't receive any
objections, we'll issue the COCs in 30 days.
