Please be advised that the facility met the permit thresholds for Part A of the NCGO80000 General Permit for Stormwater Associated with Industrial activities SIC Code 4212 (Local Transportation), with'the exception of the pH parameter. This parameter was neither tested in situ by the collector nor analyzed out of hold time by the analytical laboratory. Advanced Disposal has provided the necessary corrective action re-training for facility personnel in the collection of in situ pH. Advanced Disposal is in the process of drafting a Notice of Termination for this facility which will be submitted to your Division within the next 90 days. A copy of this submittal is being sent to the facility to be incorporated into the Operating Records and SWPPP booklet. Please be advised that the facility met the permit thresholds for Part A of the NCG080000 General Permit for Stormwater Associated with Industrial activities SIC Code 4212 (Local Transportation), with the exception of the pH parameter. This parameter was neither tested in situ by the collector nor analyzed out of hold time by the analytical laboratory. Advanced Disposal has provided the necessary corrective action of ordering a handheld pH meter, capable of a 3 point calibration, and is to be used during future monitoring events. Specifically, this meter will be calibrated prior to all future sample collections and the in situ pH will be documented on the Analytical Chain of Custody for record keeping. A log of the calibration records will be kept with the meter for additional documentation. A copy of this submittal is being sent to the facility to be incorporated into the Operating Records and SWPPP booklet.
