Magna Composites took over ownership of Meridian Automotive Systems, Inc. in July 2009. The Stormwater Pollution
Prevention Plan (SPPP) is comprehensive and meets the permit requirements. Meridian Automotive Systems, Inc. may
have removed records that could be relative to the SPPP such as training documentation and SPPP monitoring reports.
The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator came to the Salisbury, NC facility in January 2010. Revisions and
updates to the SPPP have been made and a training program is being implemented

NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELEVIINATION SYSTEM
In compliance with the provision of North Carolina General Statute 143-215.1, other lawful standards and
regulations promulgated and adopted by the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission, and the
Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended,
MERIDIAN AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS, INC.
is hereby authorized to discharge stormwater from a facility located at
6701 Statesville Road
Salisbury, North Carolina
Rowan County
to receiving waters designated as an unnamed tributary to Second Creek, a class C water in the Yadkin River Basin
in accordance with the effluent limitations, monitoring requirements, and other conditions set forth in Parts I, II, III,
IV, V, and VI of General Permit No. NCG050000 as attached.
This certificate of coverage shall become effective October 19, 2001.
This Certificate of Coverage shall remain in effect for the duration of the General Permit.
