NCDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING REGARDING THE PROPOSAL
FOR IMPROVEMENTS OF INTERSECTION ON U.S. 17 AT MCDANIEL DRIVE/WORKSHOP LANE
IN JACKSONVILLE
STIP Project No. U-6107
The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to improve intersection on U.S. 17 at McDaniel
Drive/Workshop Lane in Onslow County.
A public meeting will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, June 3 at Jacksonville Department of
Public Safety in the Community Training room located in Jacksonville.
The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project and gather input on the
proposed design. As information becomes available, it may be viewed online at the NCDOT
public meeting webpage: https://www.ncdot.gov/news/public-meetings.
The public may attend at any time during the public meeting hours, as no formal presentation
will be made. NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive
comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on
the project develops.
The opportunity to submit written comments will be provided at the meeting or can be done by
phone, email, or mail by June 17, 2019.
