Dear Raymond Otis Collier:
The Division of Water Resources (Division) received your sludge survey information on January
8, 2019. With the survey results, you requested an extension of the sludge survey requirement
for Four lagoons at Owl Pond, Heath Farm, & Hog City facility. Due to the amounts of
treatment volume available, the Division agrees that a sludge survey is not needed until
December 31, 2023 for lagoons Hog City #1, Hog City #3, Owl Pond New, and Heath 1-5
only.
The next sludge survey for the Four lagoons at Owl Pond, Heath Farm, & Hog City should be
performed before December 31, 2023. Please retain this letter and keep it with your farm records
for reference.
