This follows our phone conversation earlier today after my routine site visit this afternoon. Based on the turbidity levels
being discharged from the project site into the surface waters, pumping needs to cease immediately. I highly
recommend additional measures to prevent further migration of the turbidity plume into surface waters.

Thanks for walking us through what to do to help lower the turbidity levels in the runoff waters. As you can see from
the pictures, we have the water running from the initial sediment pond to secondary pond to help settle the silt. We
installed the wattles and sprinkled them with the polymer powder to help treat water all the way down the
rundown. We have hired Green Resources to take a water sample in our sediment ponds and then formula a specific
Floc log to reduce the turbidity, that turn around will be 5-7 days, but will help long term. The wattles at the flared end
sections at the inlet are double lined now and sprinkled with polymer, and the water at the inlet was substantially
cleaner. This system has been working, but give me a shout if you would like to come back out and take a look.
