REFERENCE: DCM95-75: Amend Consistency for Proposed Rehabilitation of Airfield
Taxiways and Runways (CD95-06), U.S. Coast Guard Support Center,
Elizabeth City
Dear Mr. Sykes:
Thank you for providing us with information and plans for the expansion of aircraft
parking aprons at the U.S. Coast Guard Support Center at Elizabeth City. The proposed work
represents a modification to the proposal for taxiway and runway rehabilitation which we
reviewed earlier this year (CD95-06). Based upon our review we agree to amend our consistency
position to include the proposed aircraft parking apron expansion as described in the Talbert &
Bright, Inc. report dated August 14, 1995. As with our original consistency position, all state
authorization and or permit requirements must be met prior to implementation of the work.
If you have any questions please contact Steve Benton or Caroline Bellis, Division of
Coastal Management, at (919)733-2293. Again, thank you for your consideration of the North
Carolina Coastal Management Program.
Sincerely,
P-4 a e ?A- -, .
