Dear Mr. Davidson,
Thank you for allowing Mountain View Assisted Living the opportunity to respond to the Notice of Violation dated
August 22, 2019.Our response below is for our facility not operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations
specified as set forth in our permit.
We have been working with Mark Brooks Engineering to develop the best plan going forward for the necessary repairs
of the wastewater treatment plant. Construction of the new filtration system is slated to begin in October. The operator
has worked diligently to operate the facility as close to compliance as possible until the installation date.
Currently we don't have an effluent flow meter on site to perform flow based sampling. The current continuous flow
readings are calculated from the water usage data_ A new flow meter will be installed during the refurbishment of the
facility.
It is always our goal to remain in compliance with regulations set forth by the Division of Water Resources. It is our
request that our action in these matters be taken into account by the Division when enforcement action is taken.
