Thank you for your 11 December 1995 letter and request for certification for fill of 0.465 acres of
wetlands on lot 509 for a single family home. On 25 September DEM issued a General Certification for
Nationwide Permit 29 (Single Family Homes). As long as all conditions of the attached certification are
followed, no written DEM approval is needed. However written approval is required by the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers and the N.C. Division of Coastal Management for consistency. You should contact
Mr. Stephen Benton of the N.C. Division of Coastal Management at 919-733-2293 for additional
information.
