City of Raleigh Public Utilities Sewer Maintenance staff discovered an area of streambank failure on 0
Harris Road (near the 200 block, Lat. 35.9957, Long. -78.5075) along an unnamed tributary of Richland
Creek. The repair area is located within a maintained sanitary sewer easement and the site will be
accessed via the existing power utility easement. Approximately 30 LF of streambank will be stabilized.
The following activities are proposed at this location:
• Erosion control measures and a dry work area will be established prior to work beginning.
• The bank will be stabilized with rock/geotextile.
• All disturbed areas will be seeded and mulched upon completion of the work.
