RE: Mountaire Farms — Lumber Bridge
Dear Ms. Monday,
Mountaire Farms of North Carolina Corp. (Mountaire) has authorized the selection and installation of
the alternative primary dissolved air flotation (DAF) unit as an "or equal' submittal. The alternative
DAF unit was manufactured by World Water Works (WWW) and has a maximum hydraulic capacity
of 1,100 gallons per minute. However, Mountaire Farms is not requesting an increase in the
permitted flow.
