Obviously, this is conceptual, and Haiqing said if workable, she would work up formal drawing changes. She said this came about after conversations between the HOAs at the south end and the Town. She said the work at station 980+00 is just be bulldozing- no additional material would be placed since they've already pumped there and can't go back, but areas to the south they propose to pump to +6.3' and would then bulldoze. So while I haven't confirmed this, I would think that they would potentially exceed the 4mcy volume they originally proposed- since current volume estimates put them right at 4mcy (without the +/- 10% allowance for "error') Please let me know your thoughts and let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Stornrwaler OuifeA Existing stormwater outfalls maintained by NCDOT are visible on sheets 03, 04 and 11. The outfall on sheet 17 near station 1025+00 will be restored and extended a minimum distance as necessary to maintain functionality after the project based on requirements or specifications provided by NCDOT. Appropriate bridging or sand -layer protection will be used during construction to avoid any damage to ft structures when heavy equipment has to run over these outfalls. So that will hopefully make things a little simpler!
