Comment: I reviewed the project with DEO Kevin Hining and DOT project manager Aaron Johnson. The culvert was
underconstruction. The upstream section was mostly complete. US 64 will be moved to completed
section of the culvert and then work will begin on the downstream section. Construction BMPs were in
place as well as erosion control measures. Relocated channel appeared to be stable. Project is
progressing and should be complete by end of the year.
