RE: Engineering Certification Requested Response
Dear Mr.Hothem:
We are in receipt of the letter dated August 9, 2019 from the Wilmington Regional Office, Water Quality
Section concerning sewer permits issued from 2007 through 2009. This letter and enclosed attachments
serve as our response.
We are responding to all of the listed projects except for those done by our Public Utilities Department.
They will be researching and responding by separate correspondence. Those projects include: Oak Island
Force Main Interconnection Phase II, Public Utilities Field Operation Center Sewer, Calabash Wastewater
Collection System and Sunset Beach Mixed Sewer Collection System.
We have attached the project status sheets for the rest of the projects. The comments line is filled out for
each project but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. We are asking for
extensions to reply for a few projects as we have contacted the Engineer responsible and are still waiting
for their response. We understand that the extension will expire on October 8, 2019.
