This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NC0041386. The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report". The 2019 permit annual fee is overdue. Seafood Industrial Park Authority) to inspect the Industrial Park's WWTP. The Wastewater Treatment Plant has been constructed with plans to start connecting the Industries to the wastewater collection system by the end of 2019. The facility was reminded that an Operator in Responsible Charge and Backup Operator in Responsible Charge must be designated 60 calendar days prior to wastewater being intoduced into the system. The Washington Regional Office needs to be notified 48 hours prior to startup of the wastewater treatment facility. The 2019 permit annual fee is overdue. It covers the administrative costs associated with your permit. It is required of any person holding a permit for any time during the annual fee period, regardless of the facility's operating status. Failure to pay the fee by the due date will subject the permit to revocation. Operating without a valid permit is a violation and is subject to a $10,000 per day fine. If the permit is revoked and you later decide a permit is needed, you must reapply, with the understanding the permit request may be denied due to changes in environmental, regulatory, or modeling conditions.
