2018-2019 System Performance Annual Report
Wastewater Collection System
This report provides performance information on the Town of Burgaw sewer collection system for
the fiscal year of 2018-2019. This report is required under the provisions of the Clean Water Act of
1999, House Bill 1160 ratified on July 20, 1999.

I. General Information

U. System Description
The collection system consists of approximately 24 miles of gravity sewer lines, 18 miles of force
mains and 17 pump stations. All are stations are monitored by radio signal, 24 hours per day, seven
days per week. The Town of Burgaw currently monitors 3 SIU's (Significant Industrial Users) in it's
Pretreatment Program.
III. Performance
During this reporting period, there were no reportable sewer spills from the collection system and the
town cleaned and inspected over 21,000 ft. of lines.

This report is published on the Town of Burgaw web site at www.torivriolIoryawric.gov. In addition,
copies are available for review at the City Hall offices at 109 North Walker Street and the Public
Utilities Department at 213 S. McRae Street in Burgaw.
