Depends on the review putting in the info. And Dave isn't running the SAM. I think it is something to question. Based upon the pictures, I wouldn't have thought it was low either. It is odd how many mediums there are and then it ends up low. The steep banks even looked vegetated with moss, etc but not just cut banks. I appreciate your time. I will finish up my comments today for the PN and get them set out. Given all the high and medium, I am having a hard time seeing how it rates low (2 out of 3). 1 know it is the way the scores feed into the matrix. But it was a typical stream. Channel stability, a change in that, could affect the overall hydrology. It was incised/eroded, but that could have been past impact and now it is relatively stable. Flood flow, the stream is at the top of the watershed, so not sure how important that criteria is. In stream habitat is high, but aquatic life tolerance is low??? Given the location and the buffer on the stream and not in urban area, typically these stream tend to score at least a medium. Surprised that this came out as low. am Sile Name Patterson Rd -aam Category Rbl Draft NC SAM Stream Rating Sheet Accompanies User Manual Version 2.1 tate of Assessment 117119 Assessor Namelfhganixation Carolina 1+ Aand Serwkme s of Field Assessment Form (YjN) No once of regulatory considerations {YIN) YES Wnal stream inlormalionlsupplementary measurements induded (YRl) No 3AM feature type (perennial. intermittent.
