On July 29, 2019, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received your application dated July 29, 2019, requesting a 401 Water Quality Certification from the Division for the subject property. The Division has determined that your application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The application is on -hold until the following information is received: Figure D1 Item 11 under notes states that a pump around operation will be utilized for dry working conditions during structure placement when practical. Item 9 of Water Quality Certification # 4139 requires that all work in streams shall be conducted so that the flowing stream does not come in contact with the disturbed area. Please redesign the plan to meet this condition or provide justification for why the condition cannot be met. Also, provide a pump around detail. [15A NCAC 02H .0506(b)(4)] Please describe how the construction of the stream channel will be completed without impacting the existing wetland. Will timber mats be used or will the work be performed from upland areas? [15A NCAC 02H .0506(c)(2)] 3. Please provide the Division with proper dimension data that supports the design and is based on a reference reach or a stable reach near the site. [15A NCAC 02H .0506(b)(3)&(4)] Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502 (c), the applicant shall furnish all of the above requested information for the proper consideration of the application. If all of the requested information is not received within 30 calendar days, of receipt of this email, the Division will be unable to approve the application and it will be returned. The return of this project will necessitate reapplication to the Division for approval, including a complete application package and the appropriate fee.
