Thank you for your letter of February 9, 2007 responding to my request for a Nationwide Permit 18 to fill
wetlands in the process of constructing a small pond adjacent to my residence in Harnett County.
I am following your advice and requesting withdrawal of the Nationwide Permit 18 application I submitted.
This request is also directed to the Division of Water Quality. They have requested five copies of the
application documents, as opposed to the two sent and an application fee of $200. I did not understand
these requests by DWQ from the information available online.
This letter will also function as my contact with DWQ advising them that I will be changing to a
Nationwide Permit 39 application, as you have advised.
