Since the USACE has sent a 10 day notice to the other regulatory agencies specifically requesting input/comments on the
Groundwater technical report, DWR will consider the application on hold until that 10 day comment period is
complete. This will allow us to ensure that we will have the same information as the USACE when making final approval
decisions and writing our 401 conditions and thereby avoid any risk of issuing a 401 that would immediately require
modification.
